It's a good concept. It's not such a good movie. One reason is that there are too many stereotypes. One of which is that the fat people in the film eat unhealthy, fatty foods with abandon. Sometimes they hide the food but they are there eating it nonetheless. Where are the fat people who actually eat good food?
I am fat again, as this blog says, and I go up and down and sometimes wonder if I can get enough of a grip to retrieve the thinner me, the more active me. It's a damned sight more complicated and depressing than this film really portrays. The film does offer a more positive viewpoint in a way, reveals a little of what it is like inside. Yet it appears to have been written, oddly, by unfat people.
